On the afternoon of December 22, the 2019 Corporate Mentor Appointment Ceremony of JNU MBA Program Center and Mentor-Student Sharing Session with the theme “University-Enterprise Integration to Empower Future” was held at the School of Business, with more than 200 participants.
Associate Dean Wu Ge warmly welcomed entrepreneurs to support the MBA program. He elaborated on training model and special features of MBA program in terms of development ideas, training goals, and project strategies, and the achievements in university-enterprise cooperation, integration of production and education, and collaborative innovation.
Li Jiamin, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business, and Li Ronghua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy dean, presented the letter of appointment to Senior Vice President of Ciprun Group Wang Daomin, as MBA Adjunct Professor, and to Chairman of the Wuxi Cultural Tourism Development Group Zhang Zhongyun and other 57 entrepreneurs as the 2019 MBA One-to-One Corporate Mentor.
Zhang Zhongyun delivered a speech on behalf of the newly hired corporate mentors. He said that he would pass on excellent management experience alongside other corporate mentors for win-win outcome on school-enterprise cooperation. He encouraged MBA students to keep improving themselves, fighting for society, and empowering the future.
Wang Daomin gave a speech on “Collaborative Innovation for a Better Future”, elaborating on the challenges and explorations of transformation of business management in the Internet era.
The Center also awarded 85 outstanding students the 2019 “Outstanding Student Leader Award”, “Outstanding Student Award”, “Academic Competition Award”, “Overseas Study Award”, “Charity Star Award”, “Sports Award” and “Freshman Scholarship”.
Li Ronghua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy dean of the School of Business, made a concluding speech. While expressing gratitude to the entrepreneurs for their strong support, she encouraged MBA students to work harder to achieve greater the value of life.
In the mentor-student sharing session, mentors shared face-to-face with the students on management experience and insights.
Since 2012, the Center has adopted a “dual mentor system”. As of December 2018, the Center has hired more than 370 corporate executives to guide students in their studies and careers.
